Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join Oracle's dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a broad and deep background in the software industry, with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing modern DevOps solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable container orchestration platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automation frameworks.
- Deploy and maintain monitoring/logging solutions leveraging the ELK stack.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to enforce best practices.
- Drive system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous DevOps process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations for production support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
15+ years of overall software industry experience with strong exposure to enterprise environments and at least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack. Proficient in CI/CD tools, scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go), infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform), networking, and security best practices. Experience with public cloud platforms is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or AWS DevOps Engineer; experience with microservices architecture and service mesh solutions; exposure to application performance monitoring tools.
