Senior DevOps Engineer at Oracle
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Oracle. With over 15 years in the software industry and 5+ years of hands-on DevOps expertise using Docker, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack, you will design, implement, and manage modern DevOps solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable, secure container orchestration platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Deploy and optimize monitoring/logging solutions with the ELK stack.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for best practices.
- Drive reliability, scalability, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations for production support when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 15+ years overall experience in the software industry.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Expertise in infrastructure automation and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and security protocols.
- Experience with public cloud platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh solutions.
- Exposure to application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
