Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Migration Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex data migration solutions with a focus on AWS, Databricks, Python, PySpark, and SQL. The role involves moving large data volumes from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms with minimal downtime.

Job Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable data solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • AWS & Databricks Implementation: Utilize Databricks for big data processing, develop ETL processes, and optimize data pipelines using AWS services like S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lambda.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and tools, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • SQL Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases, and write complex SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience with Databricks and big data frameworks.
  • Proficient in AWS services and data migration practices.
  • Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Databricks Certified Professional are a plus.
