Senior Data Center Low Voltage Engineer
As a Senior Data Center Low Voltage Engineer at Oracle, you will be instrumental in deploying and coordinating physical plant cabling systems, ensuring the seamless implementation of infrastructure within Oracle's global data centers. You will collaborate closely with Program Management teams to guarantee project deliverables are met on time and partner with vendors to oversee the build-out of essential data center infrastructure.Key Responsibilities
Data Center Design & Implementation-Cabling Infrastructure:- Implement structured cabling solutions for new data center builds and expansions.
- Deploy physical plant cabling systems.
- Contribute to the development of global data center cabling and infrastructure standards.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Coordinate infrastructure implementation efforts for Oracle data centers.
- Develop sustainable and repeatable solutions to support the continuous improvement of data centers.
- Align teams on project scope, review Bill of Materials and available resources, and assess project roadmaps against scope and business needs.
- Prioritize customer experience in all project planning and delivery phases.
- Collaborate with Program Management teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Attend vendor business reviews to report on project updates and document vendor progress and roadblocks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on cabling and build standards for data center infrastructure.
- Collaborate with vendors to deliver the build-out of data center infrastructure.
- Participate in the vendor bidding and selection process.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate moderately complex tasks, monitoring timelines and deliverables for timely completion and adherence to requirements for moderately-sized projects or initiatives.
