Role Overview
As a Senior Cloud Support Engineer - OCI Multicloud Support at Oracle, you will serve as the primary technical interface for customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Value-Added Resellers (VARs). Your main responsibility will be to resolve problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance, and effective use of Oracle products. This role requires a deep understanding of all Oracle products within your competency, with in-depth knowledge of several products and/or platforms.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will be highly experienced in multiple platforms, capable of completing assigned duties with minimal direction. Expect to act independently while researching and developing comprehensive solutions to customer issues. This involves leveraging your expertise in cloud networking and multicloud environments to ensure high-quality service in a pressured production setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or relevant work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in an Infrastructure or cloud-related field.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Networking and in-depth knowledge of cloud computing.
- Hands-on experience with at least one public-cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
- Prior experience in a technical support role or a demonstrated ability to quickly troubleshoot technical problems to root cause and restore service.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people on both a technical and non-technical level.
- Ability to work with a global, remote workforce.
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work in a pressured production environment while not compromising on service quality.
- A strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Must work from the Nashville office 5 days/week and be part of an on-call rotation.
