About the Role
Join Oracle Health & AI, a dynamic new organization driving product development and strategy to modernize healthcare through automation and AI. As a Senior Clinical Documentation Analyst - AI & Automation, you will analyze clinical workflows across various clinical settings to shape AI-generated medical notes and provide insights for our new pipelines of automated workflows within the EHR.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated medical notes (e.g., SOAP, Progress Notes) from diverse clinical workflows.
- Perform in-depth analysis using statistical methods for quality enhancements.
- Collaborate with Applied Science and Engineering to refine model prompts.
- Design assessment frameworks to validate AI output quality.
- Analyze clinical data standards and EMR mappings (e.g., Cerner) for interoperable solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must have proficiency in medical terminology, clinical workflows, and documentation standards from various healthcare settings. A minimum of 3 years experience in roles such as medical scribe, clinical documentation specialist, or medical billing is required. Hands-on experience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) and familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., SNOMED CT, ICD) are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or computer science is preferred. Additional qualifications include familiarity with healthcare coding systems and compliance standards along with practical clinical documentation experience.
