Senior AI Applications Engineer

Essential Skills

Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI such as Python and Java. Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks and platforms including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Oracle Cloud AI services. Practical experience with enterprise software development including REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. Strong problem-solving skills to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary, and global team environment.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field, and at least 1 year of experience in AI, software engineering, or related fields. Hands-on knowledge of common AI techniques including machine learning methods and statistical modeling.

Preferred: Masters degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related discipline. Experience with Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation, advanced modern AI tooling, and cloud platforms – preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Experience in developing and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise AI applications using modern AI tools such as AI Agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Model context protocol (MCP), and Large Language Models.
• Apply classical AI techniques including clustering, classification, regression, Monte Carlo simulations, and Bayesian blending.
• Participate in system planning, scheduling, and implementation for enterprise-scale AI applications.
• Build new product features and enhance existing features to automate complex business flows and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance in a cloud environment.
• Contribute to best practices for development, testing, and deployment of AI applications.
