About the Security Developer 5 Cryptography Role at Oracle
Oracle is seeking seasoned developers with extensive experience in applied cryptography. This role emphasizes secure software development by integrating cryptography into Oracle Cloud services, enhancing data protection through encryption in-transit and at-rest, and maintaining cryptographic libraries in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate cryptography into Oracle Cloud services and systems
- Own the entire software development life-cycle for encryption features
- Build and maintain secure cryptographic libraries for various customers
- Collaborate on open-source client-side cryptographic libraries
- Analyze architecture for cloud-based cryptographic key management
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficient in languages such as Java, C, Python, Go, C++, C#, Ruby, Rust; strong experience in architecting and implementing software systems; excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred skills include expertise in post quantum cryptography, symmetric and public key encryption, digital signatures, TLS, IPSec, and familiarity with cryptographic toolkits (e.g., OpenSSL, Java JCE, Bouncy Castle) as well as FIPS-140 compliance and hardware security modules.
