About the Regulatory Compliance Specialist 3 Role at Oracle
This position assists and supports the organization in complying with government regulations and regulatory agency requirements. It involves ongoing preparation, testing, monitoring of conformance, and ensuring internal processes adhere to required standards.
Responsibilities
The role includes:
- Evaluating internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintaining documentation related to regulatory compliance.
- Conducting internal and external audits to identify and address risks and deficiencies.
- Coordinating and preparing documentation packages for regulatory submissions, audits, and inspections.
- Serving as a point of contact for regulatory agencies on defined matters.
- Responding to compliance-related requests and updating internal and external security documentation.
- Coordinating 3rd party audit activities and managing quality, security, and compliance projects.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and around 5 years of relevant experience. They should be resourceful, action-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing competing demands with a sense of urgency. Effective communication skills at all levels are required along with familiarity with standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 2700x, and NIST.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional attributes include strong analytical skills, understanding of security threats, technical knowledge across various security domains, and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranges from $70,600 to $141,200 per year in the US, with potential bonuses and equity. Oracle offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, disability coverages, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
