Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is defining the next era of enterprise cloud. As a Principal Technical Program Manager on the Compute New Product Introduction (NPI) team, you will own end-to-end technical program delivery for multiple cloud compute products from concept through general availability.
You will engage daily with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and keep new SKUs/programs on track for launch. You may bring deep expertise in one domain and the essential technical curiosity and drive to quickly ramp on others. You will present status and recommendations to engineering and business leaders and help continuously strengthen the NPI process.

- Coordinate across hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, supply chain, and data center teams to define requirements, track issues, and resolve integration challenges.
- Work hands-on with engineers to address technical hurdles, proactively identify risks, and propose practical solutions.
- Contribute to process improvements—identifying inefficiencies, implementing documentation upgrades, and proposing scalable approaches to SKU/program execution.
- Communicate status, risks, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and engineering leaders.
- Support and help onboard less experienced team members, contributing to a collaborative, learning focused NPI culture.
- Build productive relationships with OEMs, supply chain, and vendor partners.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience delivering new data center hardware, compute, or storage platforms; technical program or engineering leadership with exposure to cross-functional delivery.
- Solid understanding of hardware system design and deployment, with a strong grounding in at least one of the following: hardware, firmware, software, networking, supply chain, or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to work with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, coordinate integration, and deliver new products at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Track record navigating technical uncertainty, rapidly learning new concepts, and closing knowledge gaps across domains.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud hardware, infrastructure, or virtualization product launches.
- Recognized for technical ownership and collaborative problem-solving.
- Experience with process documentation or agile/DevOps tooling.
- Ability to present technical issues and recommendations to engineering and business leaders.
