Principal Technical Program Manager, Federal Health at Oracle
We are seeking a driven, strategic, analytical, and seasoned technical program manager (TPM) with experience in a high-growth technology business. We are specifically looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of getting things done at scale. This involves working effectively with cross-functional teams across a large organization, moving teams towards a unified goal and north star. You will be expected to drive results, not merely facilitate. You should possess high judgment and be a “roll up your sleeves” individual with a bias for action, demonstrating strong ownership and collaboration skills. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex, cross-organizational/functional programs that impact both product and business.
Our Oracle Health & Analytics Federal PMO team focuses on product operations and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. The Oracle Health team is building a group of highly analytical technical program managers to solve critical and challenging problems for our customers. In this role, you will have the responsibility of ensuring that our customers’ business requirements are met.
Strong soft skills to motivate, direct without authority, mentor, and build bridges and relationships are a must. We are specifically looking for an experienced and customer-centric technical program manager to join the Oracle Health Group. You will be responsible for managing complex, cross-organizational programs that impact both product and business for Oracle Health, with exposure to multiple critical business initiatives. As our team expands, a strong program management leader is needed. You should display a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to obtain & maintain a Federal Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
- Drive projects/programs, processes, and procedures that monitor and support customer business objectives.
- Influence partner teams without direct authority to ensure business needs and goals are met.
- Manage roadmaps among cross-functional teams, as well as interrelated and independent application and/or infrastructure changes; track and report on program achievements.
- Drive execution for on-time, on-scope delivery of user and developer-facing features.
- Ensure high standards and consistency for the Oracle customer experience.
- Recommend process improvements and serve as an escalation point for all issues and questions associated with a project/program.
- Ensure that resource requirements needed to support a particular project/program are in place.
- Provide ongoing written and verbal release status updates to senior leadership.
- Solid grasp of the business side of technology with an understanding and zeal for metrics/analysis to deliver on business objectives.
- Strong JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Own programs without ego.
Qualifications
This role is designated as Career Level IC4. Candidates are typically placed into the salary range based on knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, locations, and internal peer equity.
