Overview

The Principal Program Manager will orchestrate complex programs for Oracle's Datacenter Infrastructure Delivery Engineering. This role drives strategic growth and operational excellence across five critical pillars including Infrastructure Delivery Engineering, Bare Metal Cloud, Data Center Software Platform, White Space Data Hall Design, and Data Center Program Control and Low-voltage Vendor Management.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans aligning cloud infrastructure projects with Oracle's strategy.

Program Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale programs.
  • Create project roadmaps, identify dependencies and allocate resources.
  • Conduct regular reviews to monitor progress and mitigate risks.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between engineering, operations, and cloud services, ensuring effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices.

Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, develop, and execute mitigation strategies.

Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including contract negotiations.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions and generate key performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
  • Extensive program management experience, preferably in cloud computing or technology.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP, Agile) and tools like MS Project and Smartsheet.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure or data center environments is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation range in the US from $90,100 to $199,500 per year. Oracle also offers bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and more.
