About the Role

As a Principal Financial Analyst within Oracle OCI Finance's Infrastructure team, you will be instrumental in providing dedicated financial support for the segment of OCI responsible for building Oracle's robust Cloud Infrastructure.

This role demands a blend of analytical rigor, strategic planning, and a proactive approach to process enhancement, serving as a trusted partner across various business and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning: Assist diligently in the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for OCI Infrastructure CapEx.
  • Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of actuals, key metrics, financial trends, and forecasts, comparing them against prior periods, established forecasts, and budgets.
  • Modeling: Develop sophisticated ad hoc financial models and identify critical efficiency opportunities within infrastructure spending.
  • Team Player: Become a highly trusted member across both Finance and Business teams by consistently delivering high-quality insights and timely results.
  • E2E Process Improvement: Drive proactive initiatives focused on enhancing processes, data integrity, and tooling across Finance, Accounting, and Operations.

Additional Responsibilities May Include

  • Leveraging the broader Oracle Financial community effectively to gather and analyze information, resolving complex business issues across the organization.
  • Preparing comprehensive financial presentations for business stakeholders and compiling monthly reporting schedules.
  • Collaborating closely and effectively with Finance, Operations, and various business teams.
  • Actively participating in quarter-end activities and the financial close process.

Personal Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of corporate finance and/or Big4 experience. MBA/CPA highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and/or relating to Data Center Infrastructure, with required experience in supporting engineering & construction projects.
  • Proficient with data visualization tools, knowledgeable in data governance best practices, and experienced with relational databases.
  • Relevant experience with Procure-to-Pay processes and governance is essential.
  • Excellent analytic skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a proven ability to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Passion for increasing efficiency, standardization, and automation, always considering the end-to-end process (both upstream and downstream).
  • Proven success as a key team member, consistently delivering work products across different functional areas.
  • Ability to stay organized, adaptable, and effectively manage competing responsibilities and deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Self-directed, analytical, and curiosity-minded, utilizing an innovative and decisive approach to solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to successfully navigate and thrive in a highly matrixed organization.

Compensation and Benefits (US Specific)

The hiring range in USD for this role is from $84,500 to $178,100 per year. May also be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off (flexible vacation for salaried employees, accrued for others), 11 paid holidays, paid sick leave, paid parental leave, adoption assistance, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
