Job Description

Overview

Join Oracle's Customer Success Services organization as a Principal Cloud Engineer. In this role, you deliver post-sales support and act as an advocate for customer needs while designing and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage OCI resources including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
  • Implement best practices for OCI architecture and secure cloud environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
  • Monitor cloud resources, optimize cost and performance, and manage incidents.
  • Support cloud migration efforts and develop deployment playbooks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD processes and update OCI deployment documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve OCI environment issues.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of cloud infrastructure experience, ideally with OCI.
  • Proficient in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and networking components.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred) and scripting (Python, Bash, Shell).
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix and/or Windows administration.
  • Strong understanding of OCI security including IAM, policies, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database management and cloud migration methodologies.
  • Basic CI/CD and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OKE) experience.
  • OCI Architect/Operations certifications are a plus.
  • Candidate must be a Singaporean cleared on G50 Cat1 Security Clearance for Singapore government projects.
