About Oracle Health Federal Client Operations Systems Administrator

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health & Analytics. This team focuses on product development, operations and product strategy for Oracle Health while building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. This role is part of a new line of business with an entrepreneurial spirit, contributing to a world class engineering center.

Role Overview

As a Federal Operations Production Service Systems Administrator, you will implement, support, monitor, and maintain Oracle's solutions in Federal environments. Responsibilities include managing system integrity, performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization. You will engage in service account management, certificate management, change control, vulnerability management, OS patching and support queries, ensuring patient safety, cyber security, and system reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily system operations to verify system integrity and availability.
  • Conduct performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades and resource optimization.
  • Implement monitoring solutions and respond to alarms timely.
  • Deploy and maintain physical/virtual servers and testing environments.
  • Provide Tier III and other support for incident management and cyber validations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to coordinate product rollout and UAT.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years in Windows, Unix/Linux system administration.
  • Background in Cyber Security, Networking, and Server Configurations.
  • Experience with scripting in Unix shell, PowerShell, Perl, Python.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis in a production environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (US citizen required).

Benefits & Compensation

Competitive salary range from approximately $63,000 to $126,100 per year, with potential equity eligibility. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, holidays, sick leave, and various voluntary benefits.
