About the Oracle Database Research Intern Role

This internship is designed for graduate level students (MS/PhD) enrolled in a full-time degree program, offering a 6-month opportunity to work with advanced Oracle Database runtime technologies. As a part of the Corporate Architecture organization, you will be working on proof-of-concepts, performance studies, and developer tooling innovations.

Program and Responsibilities

In your role as an Oracle Database Research Intern, you will explore advanced runtime technologies such as GraalVM, GraalOS Database Integrations, and Micronaut with Graal Development Kit (GDK). Your work will involve:

• Exploring advanced runtime technologies.
• Contributing to proof-of-concepts and performance studies.
• Innovating developer tooling for Oracle Database.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, you must be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science or a related field and have completed advanced coursework or research in several technical areas including relational data, modern programming languages, and parallel computing. Candidates must also reside in or study at a university in Canada and be able to obtain work authorization.
