Job Description
About the Role: OFSAA Project Manager
As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. The OFSAA Project Manager leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
This role requires a strong program/project management resource with experience in implementing large finance modernization solutions such as OFSAA applications for Financial Institutions and/or Insurance clients. You will engage with executive leadership to manage client expectations and ensure all project issues/risks are effectively managed. The ability to manage the process of integrating OFSAA solutions with operational systems (FAH, GL, Planning & Budgeting) is crucial.
Project Management experience in implementing Banking, Insurance, and /or Banking/Insurance Analytics solutions is essential. You will work closely with subject matter experts and other project team members to successfully manage the deployment of OFSAA products. Domain knowledge on two or more of the following: Finance Performance Management, Accounting, GL Reconciliation, Management Reporting & Analytics etc. is preferred.
Strong functional experience implementing OFSAA FSDF, DIH, GL RECON, AFCS solutions for large Financial Institutions and/or Insurance clients is preferred. Domain knowledge on the following: OFSAA GL Recon & OFSAA Data Foundation. Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, OBIEE/OAS/OAC, DIH/ODI is required, along with strong solution deployment experience.
Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to assess a customer's processes and strategies are vital. Experience in managing Agile projects and cloud-based implementations will be handy. The role demands effective communication, the ability to build rapport with team members and clients, strong influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel as needed. This is a Career Level - IC4 position.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.
- Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations.
- Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.
- Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
- Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise.
- Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
- Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
- Program/project management of implementing large finance modernization solutions such as OFSAA applications for Financial Institutions and/or Insurance clients.
