Job Description

Motion Designer/Animator at Oracle

Join a larger, highly creative and collaborative team of motion designers just like you at Oracle! As part of our Oracle Video Team, you’ll work alongside talented peers to shape Oracle’s presence in digital marketing, events, and product storytelling. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic motion team that drives innovation, creativity, and brand excellence across global campaigns.

As a Motion Designer/Animator, you’ll produce high-impact motion design assets across a variety of channels—including ads, explainers, video and event graphics—adhering to Oracle’s Redwood branding and visual standards. You’ll have opportunities to both own entire projects independently and collaborate as a key contributor on broader initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create clear, engaging motion graphics and animations for advertising, explainers, video content, and event experiences
  • Apply new motion tools and best practices, staying at the forefront of the industry, as well as the latest motion and design trends
  • Develop assets that align with and strengthen Oracle’s brand systems, messaging, and evolving style guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with a global, remote-first team of motion designers, sharing motion best practices, creative tools and ideas
  • Be responsible for any part of creative lifecycle—concept, design, animation, delivery—or the entire cycle, ensuring high quality and timely completion
  • Present your work and share the creative and technical approaches behind project deliverables
  • Contribute to libraries of reusable motion and design assets for the entire team

What You’ll Bring

  • A standout reel and portfolio demonstrating advanced motion design skills
  • Mastery of motion graphics tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop; experience with Cinema 4d or other 3D tools a plus
  • Strong general design experience—ability to apply design principles to both static and moving images; ability to turn those into reusable motion graphics, such as adobe essential graphics, a plus
  • Illustration skills are a plus as well as storyboarding
  • Experience with innovative motion tools and techniques; familiarity with AI tools for design, video, and creativity is valued but not a substitute for hands-on expertise
  • Experience working within established brand systems
  • Ability to own complete projects independently as well as work collaboratively with a creative team, with strong project and time management abilities
  • Excellent video storytelling, conceptual, and visual communication skills
  • Demonstrated original work and breakdowns

What We’ll Give You

  • The chance to collaborate with a world-class team of motion designers and shape the digital presence of one of the world's foremost technology brands
  • A supportive, creative, remote-first environment with global reach
  • An innovative culture that values collaboration, learning, and diversity

Application Requirements

Please submit your resume, a portfolio/reel of motion design work. Be ready to explain how projects in your reel were conceived, what process was used to create them and exactly how you did so. If AI was used, label it clearly, and do not apply with an all-AI reel.
