Role Overview: IT Manager
As a part of the Federal Client Operations Team, you will manage and maintain multiple client environments with your team supporting the performance, security, and overall domain operation of hosted Federal client EHR Systems, including the technical and application aspects of the client relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of System & Site Reliability Engineers supporting the performance, security, and overall domain operation of hosted technology platforms.
- Lead and direct the team’s strategy to achieve operational or functional targets, SLAs, and objectives with measurable contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team and Federal Client Operations organization.
- Engage and lead in all phases of Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Establish and communicate organization and team goals that support and advance team and organization objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress, accomplishments, and opportunities.
- Understand and explain policies, best practices, and organizational procedures within immediate area of responsibility to key stakeholders within and outside of the team.
- Identify, propose, and lead process improvement initiatives; participate and provide input on strategic initiatives at the organization and team level.
- Deliver consistent and timely training, guidance, and feedback to encourage and promote employee success and growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities.
Role Requirements
- Information Technology Service Management experience: Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management.
- Agile Project Management experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience leading IT professionals with expertise in Cloud SaaS, Linux, Windows, Active Directory, Networking, VMWare, Security, etc.
- Application and Infrastructure Monitoring experience.
- Customer support/service experience.
- Familiarity with BMC Remedy, JIRA Service Management.
- Application Management experience.
- Healthcare IT experience is a plus.
- This position requires US citizenship for Federal Security Clearance.
- Willingness to work overtime or irregular hours as needed to support on-call duties.
- Experience with Kubernetes as a service and mobile/SaaS preferred.
- MySQL experience preferred.
- Experience using Splunk and New Relic preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $199,500 per year, with potential eligibility for bonus and equity.
