About the Program

Oracle is seeking world-class, early career PhD students for its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) organization. This program is designed to enhance your learning, expand your professional network, and accelerate your impact across multiple teams.

The Team

The Oracle Generative AI Service team is revolutionizing cloud services by delivering innovative solutions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. You will work on massive-scale services using cutting-edge machine learning technologies, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal models.

Responsibilities

  • Enroll as a PhD student and complete the internship period.
  • Lead development of distributed, scalable, high-performance AI systems.
  • Collaborate with applied scientists and software engineers to optimize model performance.
  • Contribute to delivering next-generation Generative AI-powered services.

What You’ll Bring

You should be enrolled in a PhD program (2025-2026 school year) in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or a related field. Experience in one computer science area such as Natural Language Understanding, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning; a strong publication record; and an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
