Overview of the Role
The Director of Product Management - Clinical Note AI Agent will define and execute the global strategy for Oracle's rapidly expanding Clinical Note AI Agent product. This role is crucial for driving product innovation and growth across diverse geographies and specialties, leading cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring seamless integration with healthcare systems and key stakeholders, including government and reimbursement teams. This is a hands-on product management position with significant people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership: Develop and own the comprehensive product strategy for the Clinical Note AI Agent to ensure sustained growth and global market expansion.
- Customer Value: Guarantee the Clinical Note AI Agent delivers measurable business value across various customer segments, including Emergency Departments, Inpatient settings, and 18+ specialties across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
- Government Engagement: Act as the principal product manager for Department of Defense (DoD) and Veterans Affairs (VA) relationships, ensuring the product meets all agency requirements and provides maximum value.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with the EHRM documentation team to achieve seamless integration with new EHRM systems, and collaborate with the reimbursement team to align DQI agent capabilities with documentation standards.
- Market Awareness: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiated features and maintain product leadership.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of 3-4 direct reports, with clear potential for growth as the team expands.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of proven experience as an inbound product leader, having successfully launched products and led product managers.
- Demonstrated experience leading products or AI initiatives within clinical or healthcare technology environments.
- Track record of success in driving global strategy and managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of EHR systems and comprehensive healthcare documentation requirements.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical experience as a nurse or physician, complemented by deep product management expertise.
- Understanding of reimbursement and quality improvement processes relevant to clinical documentation.
- Experience with international market expansion specifically in healthcare AI.
Additional Responsibilities (Director Level)
As a Director in the product development division, you will lead a team responsible for defining product specifications and overall strategy. This includes gathering and analyzing information to define detailed product specifications, reviewing design specifications, envisioning and communicating product strategy and functionality, and fostering relationships with internal and external groups. You will also review product documentation and collateral to ensure successful product releases aligned with corporate priorities.
Compensation and Benefits (US)
The hiring range in the US is from $139,200 to $291,800 per year. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
