About The Role: Consulting Project Technical Manager
NetSuite Customer Success (CS) is looking for an experienced Consulting Project Technical Manager to join its Professional Services team, specializing in Wholesale Distribution implementations. This remote role involves delivering ERP implementations and optimization engagements across North America, utilizing the proven SuiteSuccess methodology. You will be a core part of the NetSuite Customer Success – Delivery / Professional Services organization, independently leading end-to-end NetSuite implementations, phase upgrades, module deployments, and optimization or health-check engagements to achieve high-value, project-based outcomes. As a Consulting Project Technical Manager, you will operate with autonomy, owning overall engagement results and collaborating closely with Project Managers and consulting teams to provide high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions. Strong soft skills and professional maturity are paramount, enabling you to navigate complex client situations and foster effective collaboration across internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver NetSuite implementation and optimization engagements, including SuiteSuccess and tailored deployments, for Products industry customers (Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing), ensuring quality, scope adherence, and customer satisfaction.
- Gather, analyze, and validate customer business requirements, translating them into scalable NetSuite solution designs.
- Architect and configure NetSuite solutions to fulfill customer business objectives, encompassing complex workflows, automations, reporting, and integrations.
- Define detailed functional requirements and collaborate with technical resources, both internal teams and partners, to design, test, and deploy integrations and advanced configurations.
- Provide leadership and oversight to consultant team members, effectively delegating tasks while retaining ownership of overall solution quality and delivery outcomes.
- Establish strong, trusted-advisor relationships with customers, proactively managing expectations, scope, and risk with professionalism.
- Apply NetSuite implementation methodology, industry best practices, and internal delivery standards to ensure consistent, repeatable outcomes.
- Participate in solution scoping, effort estimation, project planning, and knowledge sharing within the Professional Services organization.
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in NetSuite capabilities, certifications, and emerging platform enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7 or more years of cumulative relevant experience, including significant ERP solution functional implementation and/or administration. (5–7 years of experience relevant to this position, including 2 years of consulting experience preferred.)
- Strong ERP functional consulting background with experience leading customer-facing implementations or leading as the customer.
- NetSuite platform experience strongly preferred; experience with competing ERP platforms will be considered.
- Consulting experience demonstrating the ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and deliver executive-ready communications.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer) and/or cloud certifications (OCI or equivalent).
- Domain expertise in distribution, manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce.
- Proven track record leading medium to large ERP programs with cross-functional and technical complexity.
- Experience mentoring or coaching consultants within delivery engagements.
- Ability to travel as needed.
