At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we build the future of the cloud for Enterprises. Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure team builds Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies, operating at high scale in a multi-tenant cloud environment.

Role Summary

As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff - OCI Cloud Storage, you will lead major projects, design complex systems, and work on components for Object Storage Service including Paxos, IO Path availability and performance, and replication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and architecture of storage system components.
  • Develop and code low-level systems for distributed storage.
  • Collaborate in an agile, high performance and learning environment.
  • Troubleshoot and tune performance across the stack.
  • Mentor junior engineers as a technical leader.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field, 15+ years in storage systems, strong OOP skills in Java or C++, solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and database/storage technologies.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range for US locations is from $96,800 to $251,600 per year, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
