About Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security and Identity Product organization builds essential cloud services that empower Oracle teams and external customers to secure their data and applications within OCI. As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff within this product development division, you will be a pivotal force in customer engagement and adoption.
Role Overview
This is a unique opportunity to define and lead the adoption strategy for foundational security capabilities, merging advanced research with practical deployment within one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures. You will be responsible for driving rapid customer and partner adoption of security products and gathering critical customer insights to shape the next generation of cloud-native security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and lead customer and partner adoption of security products, collaborating directly with customers, account teams, and engineering.
- Analyze customer pain points and architectural needs, creating scripts, proof of concepts (PoCs), and other technical deliverables to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and guide the adoption of cutting-edge security solutions.
- Present solutions to various audiences, from engineers to CxOs, effectively translating complex technical concepts into business value and influencing technology strategies.
- Drive lighthouse wins, develop, and execute scalable adoption programs, and identify repeatable solutions for common customer challenges to empower the broader field organization.
- Cultivate a passion for educating, training, and enabling cloud solutions experts to tackle challenging customer scenarios.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software development, solutions engineering, pre-sales, or similar roles, delivering enterprise-grade software solutions or cloud services.
- Strong communication skills, including executive presence, clear storytelling, whiteboarding, and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts into demonstrable business outcomes.
- A proven ability to quickly comprehend complex technical and domain issues, with a detail-oriented approach and commitment to work quality.
- Demonstrated success in delivering live Proof of Concepts (PoCs) or pilots and leveraging those learnings to drive significant customer impact at scale.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following areas: identity and access management, security, or network security.
