Team Overview - Data Center Compliance (DCC)
The DCC team is embedded within the Data Center Infrastructure organization. They are responsible for continuous monitoring, proactive evaluations of security, compliance, access management, and operational processes. Their mission is to detect, prevent, and remediate risks at all stages from market selection to decommissioning.
Role Description
As a Principal Compliance Program Manager, you will specialize in data center operations compliance at Oracle. You will work within a service team focused on integration, pre-go-live audit, security compliance, access management, and other areas.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver compliance services.
- Facilitate compliance assessments and engage with partners.
- Operate as the interface between corporate governance and operations teams.
- Educate team members on compliance and safety best practices.
- Drive process improvements and control implementations.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Attend in-region audit and assessment engagements (up to 30% travel).
- Develop and manage operating procedures for audit programs.
- Collect, review, and submit audit evidence to internal and external auditors.
- Partner on remediation projects and perform onsite assessments.
- Ensure data centers meet compliance, security, and safety standards.
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of Program Management and audit/compliance experience.
- Knowledge of data center operations, Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with global IT security frameworks and risk management.
