Job Details

Cloud Support Engineer at Oracle

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while advocating for customer needs. You will resolve post-sales non-technical inquiries and handle technical questions regarding the use and troubleshooting of Oracle Electronic Support Services.

You will act as the technical interface, resolving issues related to installation, maintenance, and usage of Oracle products. You are expected to work largely independently, research and develop customer solutions, and provide advice internally.

Responsibilities include managing production infrastructure, designing scalable solutions, collaborating with development teams, analyzing performance bottlenecks, and continuously improving support processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform operations, and customer service teams.
  • Analyze performance issues and implement fixes in production infrastructure.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by proactive issue resolution.
  • Document learnings and share best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • 4+ years experience in infrastructure or related field.
  • Strong cloud concepts understanding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new technical domains quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Technical Qualifications

  • Cloud Associate/Professional Certification(s).
  • In-depth knowledge of IaaS, Compute, and Networking.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards, including HIPAA.

Location & Schedule

This full-time, permanent position is based in Bangalore, India. Work on varied shifts including national and public holidays is required.
