About Oracle SaaS

The Oracle SaaS Engineering organization builds and operates the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications service, a comprehensive suite of enterprise SaaS applications with embedded AI on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role is part of the dynamic SaaS Continuity Engineering team that ensures industry-leading availability and performance for Oracle’s SaaS services.

What You Will Do

As an Architect Senior Principal Engineer Oracle SaaS, you will design, build, and maintain high-availability systems to support service continuity across infrastructure, database, platform, and application services. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, drive technical architecture decisions, and contribute to next-generation resiliency and availability features.

  • Utilize Java, C++ and scripting languages effectively.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields with over 10 years in system/application architecture and 6+ years in software development in a cloud engineering environment. Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, container technologies like Kubernetes, and scripting is required. Experience in building resilient, fault tolerant systems and working closely with diverse engineering teams is essential.

Additional skills include expertise in SaaS engineering, experience with public cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure or GCP, and strong communication skills.
