What You Will Do
Oracle - Energy & Utilities provides commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions for all major functions in the Energy & Utilities Sector, including Customer Experience Management, Customer Billing, Meter Data Management, and OT/AT. Your role involves winning new Applications license business, engaging with customers and prospects to present and sell E&W applications, and achieving new license sales revenue targets.
- Develop a strategy and sales plan for designated accounts.
- Perform account selling, identifying value propositions and whitespace, and proactively proposing applications.
- Identify and grow partnerships to successfully address client's needs and create differentiators.
- Marshal internal and Partner resources to conduct the sales process.
- Facilitate and nurture Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle.
- Actively maintain deep product knowledge of Oracle solutions in the E&W market.
- Research and communicate current industry trends, drivers, and potential.
- Coordinate marketing activities to generate leads.
- Deliver and co-ordinate customer presentations and demonstrations.
- Proven track record in building relationships at all levels.
- Understand funding/financial challenges in the region and be familiar with executing financial impacts.

Responsibilities
Your primary duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. This includes managing sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, strategy, and planning. You will develop solution proposals encompassing all application aspects, participate in value proposition development and presentation, and negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales. Additionally, you will identify and develop strategic alignment with key third-party influencers.
Requisites
The successful candidate must possess extensive experience selling enterprise software, preferably within the Energy and Water Business Sector. Experience working with C-suite executives to influence buying decisions and develop business cases is essential, along with comfort discussing challenges facing the energy and water sectors.
You will need to maintain credibility with external and internal stakeholders, spending significant time with potential and current customers to influence the adoption and value of the Oracle solution suite. Key to success will be leveraging the internal matrixed organization, determining when to engage pre-sales, and articulating customer needs to Product Management. Prioritization of accounts, pre-sales, product development, and commercial resources will require exemplary communication and teamwork skills.
