Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) seeks a dynamic Senior Director, Facility Operations to lead and oversee operations for its portfolio of NNN leased data center sites across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance, incident response, and lifecycle management.
• Develop strategic operational strategies in line with Oracle’s standards and regulations.
• Manage relationships with property landlords and third-party vendors.
• Partner with construction for site commissioning and integrated systems testing.
• Drive capacity planning, risk mitigation, performance monitoring, and budgeting.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and mentor a regional operations team.
• Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee site audits, compliance reviews, and documentation for certifications.
• Act as incident commander and escalation point during major events.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, compliance, and cloud operations teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant education, experience, or specialized training in facilities management or engineering.
• Deep understanding of critical mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in recruiting and leading high-performing technical teams.
• Proven ability to engage community stakeholders, local officials, and regulators.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning data center facilities.
• Expertise in managing NNN lease relationships and third-party vendor contracts.
• Proficient in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute, ASHRAE and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience in cloud, hyperscale, or enterprise data center operations is preferred.
