About the Trading Risk Analyst Role
As a Trading Risk Analyst at Optiver, you will monitor trading activity across all desks and products. You have the opportunity to work on internal market and credit risk metrics, regulatory capital, and clearing requirements, contributing directly to our P&L on the Amsterdam trading floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor trading activity and assess risk exposure
- Contribute to improvement of risk frameworks and internal models
- Evaluate regulatory, clearing, and margin requirements
- Develop and implement capital allocation and contribution metrics
- Onboard and evaluate trading counterparties for credit risk
Training and Growth
You will begin with a 3-month comprehensive training program covering trading fundamentals, market theory, strategies, and technology. Post-training, you will work on impactful projects in market risk, capital drivers, and credit risk.
Who You Are
- Graduate or professional with up to 5 years experience in STEM fields
- Analytical, quantitative and curious with strong problem solving
- Passionate about financial markets and data-driven insights
- Experienced in Python and technology driven risk modelling
- Resilient, detail-oriented, and adaptable
