About the Blockchain Developer Role

The Blockchain Developer at Opika is responsible for developing blockchain applications and smart contracts using AI tools for code generation and debugging. This role combines a basic understanding of blockchain concepts with advanced AI prompt engineering skills.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, v0, etc.) for code generation and problem-solving.
  • Develop blockchain applications and smart contracts using AI generated code.
  • Create and refine detailed prompts for Solidity, Rust, or other blockchain programming languages.
  • Employ AI to troubleshoot, debug, and iterate on generated code.
  • Test and deploy AI-generated smart contracts on testnets and mainnets.
  • Document successful AI prompting strategies and maintain a knowledge base of effective prompts.
  • Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into effective AI prompts.
  • Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements to AI-generated solutions.
  • Research and experiment with new AI tools that accelerate blockchain development.
  • Build proof-of-concepts and MVPs using AI-powered development workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in using AI tools for code generation and debugging.
  • Basic understanding of blockchain concepts like DeFi, NFTs, and Web3.
  • Excellent prompt engineering skills to clearly communicate technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with no-code/low-code blockchain platforms and AI-assisted development environments.
  • Strong documentation skills to track effective AI prompts and solutions.
  • Portfolio demonstrating projects mainly built with AI assistance is preferred.
