Overview

The Marketing Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting a high-performing global marketing and communications team at Operation Smile. This role ensures that marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, on time, and on budget through strong project management, streamlined processes, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Functions

Project & Process Management: Lead end-to-end project management for global marketing initiatives, develop and optimize workflows, maintain project trackers and reporting dashboards, and coordinate cross-functional projects.

Budget & Invoice Management: Manage the global marketing budget, track expenses, process invoices, provide budget reports, and partner with vendors and agencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between marketing and internal teams, support local teams in tailoring global strategies, and facilitate communication across global colleagues.

Data & Performance Management: Develop systems to track KPIs and campaign outcomes, support reporting and analysis, and ensure correct use of marketing platforms and CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations or project management; non-profit or global organization experience preferred.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and processes with strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a process-driven mindset.
