Role Overview

The Global Program Manager Asia, Middle East, and North Africa plays a pivotal role in shaping Operation Smile’s surgical delivery and educational programs in the region. This role supports improving healthcare capacity and advancing cleft and pediatric surgical care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage direct surgical care programs and training initiatives.
  • Plan and support multi-day training sessions and conferences.
  • Partner with country offices and professional organizations.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and monitor program impact.
  • Supervise local education coordinators and volunteer efforts.

Essential Functions

Implement educational products and initiatives, adapt offerings for local needs, and ensure quality evaluation. Build strategic partnerships; support budgeting, financial reporting and volunteer recruitment in health education settings.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s advantageous) with at least 5 years managing programs in education or health. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, work in resource-limited settings, and a passion for health equity.

Travel & Work Arrangement

Remote position based in Egypt with regional travel required.
