Overview
Opera is seeking an Associate Community Manager Germany to build and nurture the community around MiniPay - our fast, secure, and user-friendly crypto wallet. This part-time contractor/freelance position is remote and focused on driving engagement and creating meaningful connections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Manage and grow online community presence across social media and forums.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere encouraging active participation.
- Monitor and respond to community inquiries, comments, and feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and product teams for consistent messaging.
- Analyze community metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Organize and host virtual events, webinars, and community meetups.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in community or social media management with proven success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, community tools, analytics, and CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Empathetic, patient, and professional with ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Interest or experience in fintech and crypto is a plus.
