The Corporate Due Diligence Executive Role
As a Corporate Due Diligence Executive, you will contribute significantly to the OpenPayd journey by:
- Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with industry-leading colleagues, prioritizing the customer experience.
- Carrying out due diligence on prospective corporate clients in accordance with OpenPayd's policies, and assisting with other compliance tasks.
- Proactively identifying and sharing areas for improvement in existing due diligence processes and procedures.
- Onboarding customers with complex structures in high-risk verticals, including Crypto, Gaming, and Financial Services.
- Conducting in-depth assessments of regulated businesses, liaising with the legal team to evaluate licensing requirements.
- Reviewing the adequacy of the AML Compliance program associated with customers subject to Money Laundering Regulations.
- Preparing escalations and making recommendations for consideration by the MLRO.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal Corporate Due Diligence Executive will possess:
- An in-depth knowledge and experience of merchant compliance onboarding.
- The ability to self-manage, effectively organize competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, thriving amidst ambiguity.
- Experience working in fintech, which is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, robust problem-solving ability, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
- The capability to present credibly and professionally to senior management.
- A talent for building strong relationships with peers and business counterparts.
