Role Overview: Director, Information Security
In this remote role, you will maintain and mature Openly's security program. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop a comprehensive security roadmap, lead SOC II Type II audits, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Develop and execute a security roadmap.
- Oversee risk management and incident response.
- Conduct security awareness training and campaigns.
- Lead SOC II audits including evidence collection.
- Manage vendor and third-party security risks.
Qualifications & Skills
Requirements include 8+ years in information security, proven management experience, and familiarity with public cloud technologies and security tools. Certifications like CISSP or CISM are a plus and experience with Agile methodologies is desired.
Technical Acumen & Stack Awareness
Experience with EDR, MDR, SIEM, CSPM, email security, web filtering, and threat intelligence platforms is essential. Familiarity with Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, public cloud infrastructure, scripting languages, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks is beneficial.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range is competitive, with a target between $194,000 and $230,375 USD. In addition, benefits include comprehensive medical plans, a 401K contribution, remote work stipends, professional development funds, and more.
