Role Overview - Sr. QA Engineer
The Sr. QA Engineer at OPENLANE will work on manual and automated testing, design test strategies, build automation frameworks, and drive continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure full test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects for timely resolution.
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium or Cypress.
- Perform API testing using Postman or REST-assured.
- Integrate QA with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to code reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years QA experience; 2+ years in a senior/lead role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Expertise in QA methodologies and both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and API testing tools
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization
- Experience with mobile testing using Appium
- ISTQB or similar QA certification
