Who We’re Looking For

OPENLANE is seeking a Security Guard with experience in inventory control and customer service in the automotive industry.

• Observant and able to spot irregularities.
• Reliable as a consistent point of contact.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Helpful when interacting with varied stakeholders.
• Careful and safety-conscious.

You Will

• Ensure site security by monitoring perimeter and access.
• Inventory, record, and store personal property from repossessed vehicles.
• Complete vehicle stock check-in/out using handheld device.
• Lookup AuctionTrac data and guide customers to inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers.

Must Haves

• 1-3 years experience in a Security role.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
• Valid BC Security Worker License.
• Basic computer & smartphone skills.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in French/English.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to drive both standard & automatic transmissions.
