About the Role

At Opendoor, our goal is to build the largest, most trusted housing platform and set a new standard for how people move. As a Senior Platform Engineer in Corporate Engineering and IT Security, you will combine software engineering expertise with IT infrastructure domain knowledge and a passion for automation and enablement.

What You’ll Do

  • Modernize Windows infrastructure hosting a customized ResWare platform.
  • Lead migration of Windows and Mac OS users to Chromebooks and secure VDI.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Security, IT, and Engineering teams to maximize AI and velocity.

Tech Stack

  • Languages: Mac OS shell scripting, PowerShell, Terraform, Go, Python
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Workspace
  • Identity & Access: Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta
  • Endpoint Management: NinjaOne, Jamf, Google Admin, Crowdstrike
  • CI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years in software engineering, IT automation, and/or platform management
  • Expertise in Windows AD and Mac/Windows hybrid environments
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD
  • Proficiency in endpoint security and mobile device management
  • Leadership in cross-functional technical initiatives and team mentoring

Bonus Points For

  • M.S. in Computer Science
  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, and Endpoint management
  • Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (SOX, GLBA, ISO 27001)
  • Familiarity with ResWare

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range: $210,000 - $234,000 annually, plus RSUs and bonuses. Comprehensive benefits include unlimited PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and 401(k).
