About the Role
OpenAI is seeking a Technical Lead, Host Assurance to own and scale baseline security for bare-metal platforms across its global infrastructure. This is a player-coach role requiring deep technical expertise and people management acumen to design, build, and operate critical security infrastructure.
In This Role, You Will
- Define and evolve baseline security properties for bare-metal hosts.
- Design, implement, and operate a comprehensive Host Assurance platform.
- Validate hardware and firmware against vendor claims.
- Partner with multiple teams to integrate secure deployment practices.
- Lead incident response, mentoring a small team of senior engineers.
