About The Team
The Technical Success team ensures safe, effective deployment of ChatGPT and OpenAI API applications for developers and enterprises. They act as trusted advisors and thought leaders to maximize value from our AI models and products.
About The Role
As a Solutions Engineer Pre-Sales at OpenAI, you will partner with customers to deliver tangible business value through innovative solutions like customer service automation and content generation. You will work with senior business stakeholders and technical teams to demonstrate our value proposition, recommend architectural patterns, and guide AI strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pre-sales customer experiences and technical expertise.
- Build and present demos, scope use cases and recommend architectures.
- Create documentation, guides, and FAQs from pre-sales interactions.
- Develop strong customer relationships during evaluation and purchase.
- Address security and compliance inquiries and escalate when necessary.
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You
- Have 3+ years in technical pre-sales or a similar role.
- Understand IT security principles and SaaS product requirements.
- Possess foundational programming skills in Python or Javascript.
- Have experience in Generative AI/ML solutions and cloud architecture.
- Are an effective presenter who can communicate complex ideas.
