About The Role
As a Security Engineer Application Security, you are responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities within software applications. This includes building security tools, performing code reviews, conducting penetration testing, and performing security assessments. You will work closely with development teams to integrate secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle and provide security guidance to foster a culture of security awareness.
In This Role, You Will
- Perform regular security assessments, code reviews, and penetration tests.
- Develop and implement security tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate secure coding practices.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
- Track and manage vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.
- Assist in incident response and document security incidents.
- Stay current on security trends and vulnerabilities.
