About The Team

The Growth team drives user and revenue growth across ChatGPT’s consumer and business segments worldwide. The team operates across the full funnel—from awareness and acquisition to activation, retention, and expansion—using surface optimizations, in-product funnel improvements, actionable insights, disciplined experimentation, global performance marketing, and AI-powered workflows.

About The Role

OpenAI is seeking a full-funnel growth athlete to scale ChatGPT’s consumer and business growth. In this role, you will lead initiatives spanning the entire user journey with rigorous analytical thinking and high-velocity experimentation. The role involves owning initiatives from ideation and creative development to deployment, measurement, and iteration, collaborating closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to build scalable systems that unlock sustainable expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize global paid and organic acquisition campaigns across channels.
  • Build and monitor full-funnel dashboards to identify bottlenecks and prioritize actions.
  • Own hypothesis generation, experiment design, execution, and iteration for retention and monetization.
  • Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering to develop growth tooling and attribution models.
  • Develop AI-native workflows for full-funnel thinking and rigorous measurement.
  • Decide tradeoffs between B2C and B2B growth channels based on ROI and market dynamics.
  • Identify and close funnel leaks across acquisition, onboarding, activation, and retention.
  • Lead cross-functional growth sprints to test pricing, packaging, and conversion flows.
  • Define and scale reusable growth primitives such as referral systems and viral loops.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in growth roles with experience in scaling consumer and enterprise offerings.
  • Proven track record running full-funnel growth programs with strong ROI.
  • Deep analytical skills and proficiency with funnel modeling, segmentation, and experiment design.
  • Experience with data platforms, A/B testing, and attribution systems.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with product, engineering, design, and analytics teams.
  • Hands-on expertise with growth stacks for granular measurement across B2B and B2C funnels.
  • Ability to switch between strategic and tactical execution seamlessly.
