The team creates inspiring demos, powerful developer tools, sample projects, and engaging content showcasing integrations with frontier models such as OpenAI o3, GPT-4.1, multimodal capabilities, and agents like Codex.

They closely collaborate with product, engineering, research, and GTM teams to ensure a seamless developer journey from the first API call to production deployment.

About The Role

As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will craft technical content, developer tools, and sample applications to inspire developers and enable success with OpenAI’s APIs and products.

• Develop demos and sample applications using reasoning models and multimodal capabilities.
• Create high-quality tutorials, blog posts, videos, and code samples.
• Engage with and foster a global developer ecosystem.
• Represent OpenAI at events and online as a developer advocate.
• Gather developer feedback to enhance the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive success of developer tools and APIs.
• Improve OpenAI’s developer interfaces and solve complex issues independently.
