About The Team
OpenAI’s AI Success Engineer team partners with ambitious organizations to translate cutting edge AI into real business value. The team guides customers from initial deployment to scaled enterprise adoption through technical integration, workflow transformation, and sustainable program delivery.
About The Role
The AI Success Engineer is the primary post-sales contact for OpenAI’s key customers. In this role, you will own account health, drive technical deployments, and provide strategic value using OpenAI’s growing platform. You will work closely with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, and Research teams, overseeing configuration, deployment planning, and customer success.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead technical relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
- Own account health, adoption velocity, and post-sale technical success.
- Deliver technical enablement, configuration sessions and guide customer deployments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align business goals and technical capabilities.
- Identify high impact use cases and drive product feedback loops with OpenAI teams.
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You
- Have 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles.
- Are expert with OpenAI products, APIs, SDKs and integration patterns.
- Understand coding languages like Python and JavaScript along with REST APIs and CI/CD.
- Can clearly translate technical concepts into business language.
- Possess strong program management, customer engagement, and hands-on deployment skills.
