About The Team
The AI Deployment Engineering team at OpenAI ensures the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for developers and enterprises. They act as trusted advisors and technical partners helping customers build and execute AI adoption strategies post-sale.
About The Role
As an AI Deployment Engineer, you will engage with customers to transform their businesses with GenAI solutions like customer service automation and content generation. You will work closely with senior leaders and technical teams to design and deploy AI solutions using ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs, and other related tools.
- Serve as the primary technical expert post-sale for a portfolio of customers.
- Collaborate with customer leadership to establish and prioritize high-value GenAI use cases.
- Accelerate customer time to value by providing architectural guidance and building prototypes.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Applied Research, and Product teams.
- Contribute to open-source resources and internal documentation to scale best practices.
What You’ll Bring
You will have 5+ years of technical consulting, post-sales engineering, or solutions architecture experience along with hands-on proficiency in languages like Python and JavaScript. You are adept at building prototypes, communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences, and managing multiple workstreams effectively.
