We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Financial Clerk - Corporate to join Open Door Group.
Salary and Status
- Salary: $25.68 to $27.31 per hour (Grid 10, Health Sciences Association Community Bargaining Agreement)
- Status: Full-time, permanent
- Hours of Work: 36 hours of work per week
- Location: Hybrid remote work opportunity. The primary work location for this position will be a home office but will have secondary work locations of the Open Door locations in Vancouver, Kamloops, or Sechelt depending on which community the successful candidate is located.

Your Role as Financial Clerk - Corporate
Reporting to the Finance Analyst, the Financial Clerk - Corporate is responsible for handling complex tasks related to accounts receivable, billing, and client payments. Key responsibilities include posting to the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly government claims for approval and submission.
The Financial Clerk - Corporate will process financial transactions such as payroll entries, billing, and reconciliations using computerized systems. Duties include maintaining records, preparing financial summaries, assisting with audits and budgets, and performing cash management functions like issuing payments and reconciling bank statements. The successful candidate will also respond to inquiries, verify payment information, and support general administrative tasks.

Qualifications
- Accounting Certificate
- Minimum two years of recent, relevant experience, preferably in non-profit, social services, or government-funded programs.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
