Summary

This role ensures a supportive environment through staff mentoring, fiscal oversight, and operational excellence. As the liaison between the site and various operational departments, you are pivotal in upholding safe living conditions and ensuring high-quality client support.

Essential Functions

  • Represent OAC professionally at community meetings and events.
  • Assist in hiring, selection, and placement of qualified applicants.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Communicate care plans and provide clear instructions to teams.
  • Update supply inventories weekly and manage on-call responsibilities.
  • Oversee budgetary responsibilities including scheduling, purchasing, and inventory.
  • Ensure safety compliance through regular environmental checks and meeting state licensure regulations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and monitor client care activities.
  • Participate in planning and operational meetings with staff and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison for parents, guardians, conservators, and family members.
  • Provide coverage for other sites as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in the ID/DD field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid TN driver’s license required.
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Certified in Professional Crisis Management (PCM) within 60 days of hire.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly along with physical tasks such as repositioning, bending, and squatting.
