About the Role

OP Financial Group is seeking a Tech Lead for the Pohjola Vakuutus business. In this role, you will work across two insurance business units, managing technology solutions and architecture for shared compensation services and customer management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical solution and architectural guidance.
  • Collaborate with team leads, Product Owners, and Enterprise Architects.
  • Manage technology and architectural solutions following OP Pohjola guidelines.
  • Engage with various business representatives to align technology choices.

Team and Collaboration

You will join two organization groups, one handling compensation services for about 800 employees and the other managing customer-related processes and data capabilities. Daily operations include working with group leadership, lead developers, and other key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate has:

  • Strong practical experience in operational and technical architecture.
  • Proven leadership in modern software development and team management.
  • Knowledge of insurance business operations and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English.

Technical Expertise

Additional advantages include experience with:

  • Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform
  • Java-based software architectures
  • Integration architectures including ESB, MQ and event driven systems
