The Role: Projektipäällikkö
Oomi Solar is seeking an experienced Projektipäällikkö (Project Manager) to strengthen their Project Development business in Oulu or Vantaa. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for the project development of solar parks and energy storage facilities. If you enjoy planning and coordinating extensive projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and want to be part of building Finland's leading renewable energy solutions, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating project development from the idea stage through permitting to ready implementation plans.
- Conducting preliminary studies for projects (profitability calculations, zoning assessment, permit needs, constructability).
- Performing or coordinating project-related studies (nature, climate, landscape, water, and environmental surveys).
- Preparing and executing zoning, EIA, and building permit processes.
- Project management and stakeholder collaboration, including close cooperation with landowners, authorities, designers, neighboring communities, and clients.
- Stakeholder communication and influencing at various stages of projects.
- Continuous development of project development processes and operating models.
- Providing technical and commercial support for solar park and energy storage projects in design, technical specification, and permitting.
- Evaluating solutions together with technical experts and partners.
What We Are Looking For
You will certainly succeed in this role if you possess:
- Experience in project development, permitting processes, or similar environmental and infrastructure construction projects.
- Understanding of the energy sector, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects (solar energy or energy storage experience is a plus, but not essential).
- Excellent interaction and negotiation skills (Finnish & English).
- Ability to lead projects and independently carry out multi-stage processes.
- A suitable technical or commercial higher education degree.
- A desire to develop operations and boldly bring new solutions.
